Scrappy Swap item and a quilt pattern question . . .

I signed up for a Scrappy Swap and needed to make a 'scrap-inspired' goody for my partner.  Do you think this fold-up shopping bag is scrappy enough?  Now I just need to pick out a bunch of scraps to go with it and mail it out . . .

And a little while ago, I won a bundle of 10 fat quarters of Across the Pond from Cloud 9 Fabrics.  I want to turn them into a quick lap quilt, and I'm looking for pattern recommendations.  I think I'd like to add in a solid, but don't want to buy more prints.  Any suggestions for something that uses 10 fat quarters?

How about something like this for your fat quarters?

I like the shopping bag. How about a new wave quilt for your FQ's? Here's one I did: http://www.jansquilts.com/2010/11/new-wave-quilt.html

@Sallie ~ sorry, I should have linked that in the post. I roughly used this pattern:

The shopping bag is a great idea for the scrappy swap. As for the quilt, maybe try a pattern you haven't done before...I know there are many just can't think of one off of the top of my head right now. Let us know what pattern/design you decide to do. :)

I love your scrappy bag. Lucky partner.
Also I love this pattern. I am sure you could adapt it to fit your fat quarters.
